[FNV] [HELP] Help regarding non-intrusive/UI/graphical Fallout New Vegas (FNV) mods
Hello,
I've installed Fallout New Vegas (FNV) yesterday and finally want to play through it from the beginning to the end.
Therefore I am not required to load old save games. In addition, I use the German version of the game with all offical Downloadable Content (DLC) installed.
I want to have the game modified in a way, that:
Bugs and glitches in the original game are fixed.
The vanilla + DLC game play mechanics are not modified (only bug-fixes).
User Interface (UI) and graphical enhancements.
After reading the Fallout NV Clean Modding & Stability Guide here is what I did so far:
Installed the following tools:
Nexus Mod Manager v0.52.3
LOOT v0.6.1
FNVEdit v3.0.32 EXPERIMENTAL
Installed the following tools into the FNV game directory:
New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) v4.5
4GB Fallout New Vegas Updated v1.9
ENBSeries for Fallout 3 / New Vegas v0.263
CTD and Memory patch ENBoost v4.0
Installed the following NVSE plug-ins via Nexus Mod Manager:
New Vegas Anti Crash (NVAC) v7.2.1.0
New Vegas Stutter Remover (NVSR) v4.1.36
Lutana NVSE Plugin v6.1 - required by one mod mentioned here, dunno which one atm
Installed the following mods via Nexus Mod Manager:
Yukichigai Unofficial Patch (YUP) v9.0
MTUI v1.0
The Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) v1.5
CASM with MCM v1.51
User Interface Organizer (UIO) v1.31
One HUD (oHUD) v1.1
Color Survival Map & Icons v2.1
GIS - A German Inventory Sorter v1.2
Yukichigai Unofficial Patch Yup V7.23
While I am pretty confident, that the software mentioned so far helps to achieve my goals, I am unsure what graphical modifications I should use. I've installed the following, but I don't think I really need all of them (do some have conflicts?):
DYNAVISION 3 v1.1
ELECTRO-CITY v12A
Essential Visual Enhancements (EVE) v1.16
Fallout Character Overhaul (FCO) v2.31 with FCO Child fix v2.32
FNV Realistic Wasteland Lightning v5.1
Interior Lightning Overhaul v6.8.1
Nevada Skies v1.4.2
NMCs Texture Pack for New Vegas v1.0
Small Pack
16:9 Ratio Main screen
Patch 1: Red wood and burnt fence clash fix
Patch 2: Ceiling black holes fix and Clock retexture
Wasteland clothing Hires retexture v1.3 with Powder Gang fix v1.3A
Weapon Retexture Project (WRP) v1.95
I'm overwhelmed by the number of mods available, so maybe one of you may have some suggestions for me.
So here are my questions:
What modifications (specially graphical ones) are essential in your opinion?
Which of the stuff I've installed is contra-productive to achieve the goals mentioned (e. g. is known to cause bugs)?
Thanks.
