Method 1:

I would suggest you to run hardware and devices troubleshooter and check if it helps.

a) Press the ‘Windows + C’ to activate the charms menu or move the mouse pointer to bottom right corner of the screen and you will get the charms menu.
b) Click on ‘search’ and select ‘settings’ and type ‘Troubleshooting’ and select ‘troubleshooting’.
c) Click on ‘Hardware and Sound’ and select ‘Hardware and Devices’ and click on next to run the troubleshooter.

You may also try running the Windows Updates and install all the available updates including the optional driver and firmware updates.

You may refer to computer manufacturer website to download and install the latest version of Bluetooth drivers for the computer and check.

Step 2:

Uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth drivers for the speaker.

Uninstall the drivers.

a. Press Windows key + X on the desktop Screen and select Device manager.

b. Expand the device and right-click on driver and select ‘uninstall’.

Step 3:

You may refer to Kinivo website to download and install the latest version of Windows 8.1 drivers. If Windows 8.1 drivers are not available, try installing Windows 8 drivers in Windows 8 compatibility mode:

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu.

d. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
